TV Corpses – Wolfman
I’ve always been impressed with some of the corpses shown on television shows like CSI, NCIS, and Bones, as well as some of those used in the movies. They frequently serve as a source of inspiration for many of my Halloween projects. Unfortunately, a brief glimpse is often all we get of these beautifully crafted versions of mangled, rotting, charred or mummified remains. I took an instant liking to this one from the 2010 film “The Wolfman”.

Though I fear I may be unintentionally headed in a different direction, This is very close to how I had envisioned the face of my “Gravedigger” prop. I guess we’ll just have to see how that one turns out.
I really like the way the hair was done on this one too. The matted down, greasy look really suits the look of a recent death. It’s a same that, after all of the work that must have been put into this prop, it only saw a split second of screen time.
